This is a great recipe to sample all kinds of fruit. I have made this recipe for bridal showers and baby showers and also for elegant dinners.  I have added blueberries, blackberries and strawberries to this recipe and not only does it add a beautiful array of color but the flavors are awesome! Just to make this recipe extra special garnish with thinly sliced fresh mint. Enjoy…I did!

Lamberti Extra Dry Prosecco

My wife and I love serving this salad as part of family brunch.  As part of these gatherings we definitely have a go to wine – Lamberti Extra Dry Prosecco.  Don’t be fooled by the words extra dry as this is certainly sweeter than any Brut style sparkling wine.  The pleasant bubbles and aromatic style make a great pairing with fruit and brunch entree’s and add to the festive atmosphere.

Tropical Fruit Salad
Serves: 10
  • 4 Kiwis, peeled, sliced
  • 3 Navel Oranges, peeled, sliced and cut in half
  • 1 Pineapple, cut into bite size chunks
  • 3 Cups Seedless Red Grapes
  • ½ Cup Sour Cream
  • 2 T. Honey
  • 1 tsp. Orange Zest
  1. Combine fruit; place on platter.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients.
  3. Drizzle over fruit just before serving.
Suggested Wine Pairing: Lamberti Extra Dry Prosecco
