Meal #1 – Tacos With Spanish Rice

What You Need:

Meal #2 – Grilled Pork Chops With Baked Apples & Asian Chopped Salad


Baked Apples
 
Ingredients
  • 2 Large Apples
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Butter, melted
  • ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • ⅓ Cup Water or Apple Juice
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut apples in half.
  3. Remove core and seeds with small spoon or knife.
  4. Place apples in an ovenproof baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  6. Spoon mixture into centers of apple halves.
  7. Pour water or apple juice into baking dish.
  8. Bake apples for 40 to 45 minutes or until tender, basting occasionally with juices from baking dish.
  9. Serve warm with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream or vanilla yogurt.
  10. Top with drizzle of maple syrup, if desired.
