While following along with this week’s meal planning blog, please keep in mind that your grocery list may vary slightly from ours depending on what you need for this week’s meals or what you do not already have on hand that we do from previously meal planning creations, as well as diet restrictions or alterations to our recipes. Reminder that we also calculate the average prices for items based on the weekly ad for all locations or with prices averaged out from CobornsDelivers.com. Tuna Casserole

This quick casserole recipe is perfect for busy nights.

Quick Tuna Casserole

Ingredients
  • 2 Packages Knorr® Pasta Sides™ - Butter flavor
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 16 Oz. Bag Frozen Mixed Vegetables, partially thawed
  • 2 Cans (5 oz.) Tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
  1. Bring water and butter to a boil in 6-qt. saucepan.
  2. Stir in Knorr Pasta Sides Butter flavor. Continue boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes.
  3. Stir in vegetables and tuna. Continue boiling over medium heat until vegetables and pasta are tender, about 4 minutes.
  4. Turn into serving dish, then top with cheese.

MEAL THREE:

Slow Cooker Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs With Potatoes

It doesn’t get much easier or tastier than this slow cooker rib recipe. Serve with your favorite style of potatoes to make the perfect meal!

Slow Cooker Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs
 
Ingredients
  • 2 Lb. Boneless Country Style Pork Ribs
  • 1 Small Sweet Onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Seasoned Salt
  • Fresh Cracked Pepper, to taste
  • 10 Oz. Barbecue Sauce, divided
Instructions
  1. Add the chopped onion to the bottom of a 4-6-quart slow cooker.
  2. Place the ribs on top of the onions and sprinkle with seasoned salt and pepper.
  3. Add the BBQ sauce on top of ribs, reserving ¼ cup. Toss to coat.
  4. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  5. Remove ribs from slow cooker and toss in reserved ¼ cup of BBQ sauce.

MEAL FOUR:

Slow Cooker Chicken & Veggies

Another great slow cooker recipe! Try adding a bit of rosemary for even more wonderful flavor.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Vegetables
 
Ingredients
  • 3.5 Lb. Whole Chicken
  • 1.5 Lbs. Potatoes, quartered
  • 1 Lb. Baby Carrots
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 4 T. Butter
Instructions
  1. Place potatoes and carrots in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Season vegetables with salt and pepper.
  3. Clean and dry chicken
  4. Place chicken on top of vegetables.
  5. Rub skin of chicken with butter
  6. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook chicken on LOW for 4-8 hours. The cooking time depends on how large your chicken is. Cook until an internal temperature reaches 160°F in the leg and the juices run clear.
  8. Take the chicken out of the slow cooker and place in an oven-proof 9x13-inch pan. Brown the chicken under the broiler for 4-5 minutes or until the skin is brown and crispy.
