This is a great easy recipe that you can just put on the grill. You can also substitute fresh rosemary and parsley instead of dried seasoning if you like. The rosemary and parsley jazz up this chicken and deliver great flavor.
Ingredients
1/2 Cup Green Onions, chopped
1 tsp. Dried Rosemary Leaves
1 tsp. Dried Parsley Flakes
2 T. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 Clove Garlic, finely chopped
2.5-3 Lb. Whole Chicken
Directions
Mix all ingredients except chicken in small bowl. Rub mixture over skin of chicken and place 2 tablespoons mixture in cavity of chicken. Cover and grill chicken, breast side up, over drip pan or over unheated side of gas grill and 4-6 inches from medium-high heat. Rotate chicken one-half turn once. Heat until thermometer reads 165°F when placed into the thickest part of the breast and thigh.
