I am a huge fan of avocado so any chance I can get to add it to any of my recipes I am thrilled. This recipe is my husband’s favorite. He loves the tenderness of rib-eye and adding the extra flavor of salsa with avocado gives the steak an extra zingy flavor!
Ingredients
Salsa
1/2 Cup Salsa
1 Medium Avocado, peeled & coarsely chopped
2 T. Red Onion, finely chopped
2 T. Fresh Cilantro, finely chopped
Steaks
4 Boneless Beef Ribeye Steaks (3/4” thick)
1 tsp. Garlic Salt
Directions
Heat grill. In medium bowl, combine all salsa ingredients; mix well. When ready to grill, sprinkle both sides of each steak with garlic salt. Place steaks on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4-6 inches from medium-high coals. Cook 8-12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F, turning once. Serve steaks with salsa.

Suggested Wine Pairing
Elsa Malbec
Malbec (especially if from Argentina) is a great wine for pairing with grilled meats. The intense, robust fruit flavors and firm backbone in Malbec stand up well to the smoky grilled character of grilled beef.
