Weekly Ad Recipe – Red, White & Blue Sangria

Red, White & Blue SangriaCheer on Team USA and enjoy a Red, White & Blue Sangria! That is my favorite way to watch sports! Sangria is one of the best summer drinks because you get to incorporate fresh fruits into your cocktail. If you want to make this a ‘Virgin’ Sangria, try replacing the chardonnay with Ginger Ale and skipping the Cognac.

Ingredients

1  Apple (Any Variety)
1 Cup  Strawberries, quartered
1.5 Cups  Frozen Blueberries
12 Oz. Can  Frozen Pink Lemonade Concentrate
750 ml  Chardonnay Wine
3 Cups  Sprite
1/2 Cup  Cognac

Directions

In a large pitcher, combine pink lemonade, wine sprite and cognac, stir. Slice apple into thin flat pieces, using a pairing knife or cookie cutter, cut out star shapes. Pour blueberries into pitcher, place apple stars in pitcher and then pour your quartered strawberries in last. Refrigerate for 1 hour to meld flavors. Serve chilled in iced tea glasses. For individuals over 21. Please drink responsibly
