Recipes for Cold Cuts
Sandwiches are great – they’re an easy meal for lunch and a fun dinner if you don’t feel like cooking. We’ve blogged about some of the best sandwich recipes we’ve found. Press them in a panini grill or on the stove and you get a hot sandwich with melted cheese. Pretty darn tasty. But what if you have plenty of cold cuts and you’re not in the mood for a sammy? We love these recipes for using cold cuts for something other than sandwiches.
Using Cold Cuts in Recipes
Add cold cuts to salad: slice salami and saute for a hot and crispy topping for a delicious spinach salad.
Slice up your favorite meats and add them to a frittata or omelet: this Ham & Cheese Frittata is done in 30 minutes and you can sub in deli ham for the ham steak.
Make your own “hot pocket”: you can customize these with any flavors you like! Divide crescent roll or pizza dough into four squares. We like to layer some sliced deli cheese, turkey, roasted red peppers and pesto on one side of each square. Fold the dough over, pinch the edges closed and bake as directed for a quick and easy snack or meal!
Create a lovely appetizer: these Prosciutto Cups with White Beans are a simple and elegant appetizer. The deli meat becomes the cup with a little help from a mini muffin tin.
No matter how you’re using your cold cuts – you know they’re delicious and high quality. Coborn’s Premium Deli meats and cheese offer great deli taste – reminiscent of authentic delis in New York City. Our meats and cheese are made with Old Word recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. And, if you need a great side dish – check out our signature salads including pasta salads, coleslaws and potato salads. They’re all freshly made in Coborn’s Deli.
